Hard to Be Happy
It's hard to be happy, it takes a
mind in full control and a
soul rested each
day,
Life would be much easier if the
spirit stayed mad and never
went outdoors to
play.
The aches and pains the body
endures, the work to stay
fed, a lifelong
endeavor,
Easier to thwart happiness than
to use distressed moments
to weaken the mind
forever.
