A Hand Dealt
It is hard to play a poor hand
well, but often all
spirits must
try,
The cards dealt are random,
it is spiteful to hear
a wailing
cry.
God shuffles the deck, deals
out the talent cards,
at a stingy
clip,
With all cards on the table,
pray thee, the poorest
hand claims
ownership.
