Mostly Memory
If life is mostly memory, no
wonder we don't know
whether coming or
going,
Not remembering what's been
said, what done, keeps
a poor man not
knowing.
Living solely from one moment
to the next leaves a lot
missed, a lot to
wonder,
Pray, life isn't this simplistic,
make life a treat to have
and to hold, not
plunder.
