Looking Forward
Looking forward to tomorrow with gusto
shivering deep within, but
wishing it could be
delayed,
Invariably hoping to improve as hours go
by, without noticing time is
a reason to be
dismayed.
It is always a blessing to take in a fresh
day, decidedly watching how
everything is aging ever
fast,
Knowing a new day is not within grasp of
the soul unsettled, wondering how
much longer earth will
last.
