A Better Life - yesterday

The old days were better, life
wasn't any simpler, but
there was simply more
adherence to
God,

Prayers were said, reverence
was blessed, morality had
a code of conduct and
no one felt
odd.

Today there is no assurance of
what is right, no guidelines
for the strange and
the socially
weird,

Even with a greater understanding
of scientific fact, we have
allowed God's gifts to
no longer be
revered.
