Addictions Controlled - absolutely a must

Perhaps addictions are in the
genes, perhaps some reside
in the soul when
born,

Either way, every addiction
must be combated if life
is to truly traverse
unforlorn.

Even when the propensity for
an addiction is overwhelming,
it must be
expelled,

Only the will can do the job,
teach the spirit to overlook
weakness - all cravings
withheld.
