A Different Species - we are not the same

There are times when I am
embarrassed to be an
integral part of the
human
race,

The beliefs and convictions
that flow from others,
certainly are
a horrible
disgrace.

When reason has fled the
mind, it is hard to admit
we are of the
same species
blitz,

As foul as others can think,
I refuse to claim I
am of the same
collection of
dim-wits.
