Quatrain of Always Rummaging
Indeed
The carpetbagger, rummaging
through the gifts
if life to aid
his grabby
condition,
Grasps what has been torn
loose in hopes of
completing an
ecclesiastic
mission.
Wandering slowly across dead
space, running through
the highlight of
his woeful
life,
It is the carpetbagger meddling
when he can, and as
he travels, cuts all
ties with a
knife.
