A Place To Rest - Heaven

I have been allowed to rest my soul on
God's lap, to find a seat in Heaven,
to know what it will be
like,

I was given this opportunity because I
questioned God's commitment:
He'd pick me up if I
hitchhike.

I have found God's word to be true, I
have no reason to believe I
should put my faith in an empty
armchair,

Only because I was such a disbeliever
did God pay any attention to me,
He thought I would go
elsewhere.
