Beware A Stranger - You never know

Beware, I met a stranger, I shook
his hand, it was an
informal
introduction.

At first site, I was apprehensive,
strangers can be warm,
or cause
destruction.

My intent was to treat the unknown
as I wished to be treated,
but I was
mistaken,

I opened up my life to the stranger,
but my yearning soul
was soon
forsaken.
