Behind Bars - paying my dues

I have spent time behind
solid bars of
ignorant
thoughts,

I have found myself in a
holding cell of
dark immoral
spots.

I have paid my dues for
not learning what
life wants from
me,

I have made amends for
my nasty ways, now
God has set me
free.
