Care For Me - it is all I ask

I cannot make you love me,
but perhaps I can
make you
care,

It helps an empty soul ever
so greatly if there
are feelings to
share.

Love cannot be demanded,
but it is never too
much to be
tended,

If love is out of the question,
all I ask is for you to
nurture me until I
feel splendid.
