Quatrain of Carbon Footprints

Carbon Footprints - they are everywhere

You should be paid for each carbon
foot print you put forth, as
though bare feet were
a breath of fresh
air.

Man, and every other animal, was put
on this earth to emit carbon
into the world to make the
struggle with oxygen
fair.

If man was meant to spew poisonous
gases, God would have shut
down the recycling of
bad ideas, no
doubt.

Carbon is not our enemy in this world,
it is merely a square in the checker
board of life where the game
of living is carried
out.
