Quatrain of Changing Views

Changing View - not an easy task

Would I feel differently
about the world, had
I been born a
girl?

It's difficult to make the
transition, to think
of a man as a
pearl.

I doubt my understanding
would even be close to
how I know life to
exist,

If I were a girl, I know I
would wonder what the
hell is it about a man
I wish I hadn't
missed.
