Changing History - be very careful

When history is found to be
wrong, it must be changed,
it must be brought up to
date.

But history must not be lightly
scrapped, even when science
may prove a different
fate.

To modify the lessons of the past,
they must be found to have
been overwhelming
wrong,

But change comes at a heavy price;
it cannot be done quickly -
revising history must be
lifelong.
