Common Ground - never finding it

You can live without listening to your
spirit, without hearing the
sound of your
conscience
strain,

You can find temporary satisfaction
by ignoring all signs of
dysfunction deep
down inside your
brain.

You can travel through life never
knowing what is true, you
can live not knowing
the world of
reality,

You can argue with yourself all day
long but to your dismay, never
find common ground
by which to
agree.
