Cooler Flames - still hot

Contrary to believers who have
been to Heaven, there
are no streets or
alleys paved
with gold,

This is just one of many tales
from Biblical characters
who once gathered dust
on their sandals
as foretold.

Contrary to nonbelievers who have
been to Hell, it is cooler
than flames of life,
but too hot to
grow old,

This is just another tale lost
in translation, we know
eternity will be a
very long road,
to behold.
