Quatrain of Double-Clutching

Long ago

In the old days of trucking, the
double-clutch was used
for a smooth transition
to a higher
gear,

At the same time God double-
clutched his wisdom to
slip his knowledge
into man's inner
ear.

Those diesel days of trucking
saw hauling of the Good
and the Bad with
some trucks
overloaded,

There's still a double friction grasp
here and there, thus, God gave
His Holy Truck to the Devil
before the clutch
exploded.
