Quatrain of Down To Rest

Down to Rest - my rights

I tried imagining what my life would
look like, if my human rights
came from other
souls,

There is no doubt, the limitations on
my experiences, would
come with serious
controls.

But since my rights come from God,
I am allowed to live the
way I think is for the
best,

Each night I get on my knees; thank
God that He is in charge, before
I lay me down to
rest.
