Quatrain of Ever So Bold

Ever So Bold - I shall become

My feelings were hurt
before you ever
spoke, all you
had to do was
glare,

I am so sensitive because
apparently it is a sin
to say any
word of
despair.

When society begins to
make me feel shame
because of the
beliefs I
hold,

I know it is time to gain
strong character and
expunge my guilt,
ever so
bold.
