Exceptionalism Gone - it is no longer available

When American Exceptionalism is
no longer touted, death seems
better than a vital
spark,

To praise the weakest among us
is to praise our vulnerabilities,
glory becomes very
stark.

Without worshiping the best in
man, society begins to praise
the vile, the worthless and
foul,

Let not your heart or your head
become overtaken with ordinary
behavior, it will only allow
evil to stay on the
prowl.
