Getting Old

Even with maximum exposure
to myself, I still don't
know who I
am,

I was hoping by now I would
have purpose and not
see my life as a
sham.

There comes a point in every
man's life when his true
story must be
told,

I am hoping to get away with my
excuses on why I've failed,
it's a privilege often
given to the
old.
