Extreme Idea - almost had one

I nearly had a tremendous
idea, it was very close to
forming,

Lo, it never materialized,
my mind remained
nonperforming.

Perhaps I should try harder
to conger up a magnificent
design,

I might be able to save the
world by convincing God
to change His
deadline.
