Facing The Morning - not through a window

When I got up to face the
morning, I had the
window to my
back,

I was looking at my computer
screen to see if my
life was still on
track.

The world has really changed
since the days when the
sun forced clear
thought,

Now it takes a digital morning
to get sunshine into the soul
without it being for
naught.
