fashionable

I am too clever to succeed,
too wise to be smart,
destined to be
ineffectual.

The more I try to excel, the
worse life becomes, I
find I am a modern
intellectual.

Look at me when I speak, I
am about to mouth words
that are cloaked in
mystery.

I have become what everyone
wants to be, an impotent leader of minds that
will go down in
history.
