Good friends - nice to have

Knowing you won't make me rich,
it won't make me
king of the
hill,

Knowing you won't make me
eat better or make my
beer glass
easier to
fill.

I can't expect to be turned into
a grand soul merely
because
we are
friends,

But I can expect to feel better,
I feel more human and I
hope our friendship
never ends.
