Quatrain of Fleeting Ideas
Hang on to them!
I had an enlightened thought
for a jiffy, then it disappeared,
gone with a blink
without a
trace,
If I cold hold my neurons for a
mere squeak, I could
spawn an idea
many would
embrace.
But ideas are a fleeting shock,
superlative wonderments with
lightening speed forcing
grins with
zest,
If you ever have a hot thought
wrestle it with your conscience,
grab it from the mind
when ready to be
expressed.
