Gathered Bunch - more than one

Dear God, even though I know
I have a selfish soul,
I must ask to be
blessed,

Without your spirit to nudge
me, I cannot go on as
if I do not need
rest.

I am only asking for one
spiritual benison, I am
not asking for a
gathered bunch,

You see God, if I can receive
one small blessing, I can
get by in a
crunch.
