Godly Punishment - nothing is worse

1.

No one can punish a man spiritually
or physically more
than God
Divine,

Man can be mean, but God can
make man's punishment
seem
benign,

He can cause your soul to seem
on fire, He can make pain
seem like
Hell,

God can be wretched, can create
suffering so severe it
is impossible to
foretell.

2.

Most times, He causes the innocent
to languish, and we
don't know
why,

He seems to pick on those minding
their own business and
lets rascals go on
by.

Yes, we claim He is a loving God,
but it takes faith beyond
belief to stay
grounded,

No one can answer why such a loving
Creature causes such horrible
pain to persist
unfounded.

3.

It is one thing to have free Will,
and when we are naughty we
rightfully should be
spanked,

It's another problem when treated
mercilessly, while praying to
our Father, totally out
flanked.

If God really has a purpose to His
heavenly madness, it is a
mystery hidden in the
stars,

The Reason He as given me does not
allow an answer for the misery
inflicted, God skates, but
the pain is
ours.
