Quatrain of Hardened Conscience

Hardened Conscience - easer too get by

I sacrificed my soul to save my
life from evils that
penetrate deep
into my spirit
haven,

I would rather have a soul that
isn't infected with sin
and a spirit healthy
and not
craven.

Living without a soul hardens
the conscience and doesn't
allow nefarious
thoughts to
grow,

It takes a soul to be akin to God,
which makes it more difficult
to carry on as if I
was morally
aglow.
