Quatrain of Hard Times
Much easier
Hard times hit the family when
I was just a boy playing and
working on the
farm,
Pants too big and only got a
dime for candy once a
week , I felt
forlorn.
The worst times in my family
tree, were the hardships by
my grandpa and my
granny.
Grandparents had no car, no TV, only the Lord for prayer,
their childhoods most
uncanny.
