Quatrain of Have Traveled
How to live
I have traveled on the edge of
a frozen path hoping
the ice would not
melt,
I would travel down the center
if I thought it stronger:
strength of a garter
belt.
The sins I must carry are heavy,
sideline living leaves little
time to find a flat
sled.
My best option is to carry my
burdens on the straight
and narrow path up
ahead.
