Helping Others - not so much

If you believe you were born
destined to help this,
that or the
other.

It is probably your selfish twin
talking, or perhaps
a doting
mother.

No one was born to help others
just for the sake
of being
alive,

You're not here to give lost souls
a boost, don't pretend to be
a saint while your
ego tends to
connive.
