Quatrain of History
What it is
History is what the writers say it is,
not always like it really
was, but the mind
tries to
remember
History is not a challenge for what it
is today, tomorrow it might
just be a burning
thought
ember.
History, preserved by the written word,
sometimes in artifacts,
sometimes we plant
statues to
glimpse,
History, avoids future blunders, obliterating
reminders or pretending yesterday never
existed is a false premise, only
eviscerated in the minds of
history pimps.
