Holding Myself - I can do it

I have stood in my own way
for a very long time,
always thinking I
might quietly
change,

I must decide what to keep
and what to let go, and
hope what I conclude
is not out of
range.

I thought it might be easier
to move myself out of
the way than anyone
else, but I was
wrong,

When it comes to holding
myself down, I am a pillar
of strength, I have
been this way
lifelong.
