Human Yearning - when life changed

Before the heart began reverently
beating, there was a
void across the
land,

There was a spirit no one could
see, no passion to build
an emotional
stand.

Emptiness hung like air over the
soil, life couldn't detect
God's love
churning,

Once the heart began to thump,
reason and caring swept
throughout the world
along with human
yearning.
