Quatrain of Hunting With God
God doesn't just head off with anyone!
I went crypticlly hunting with God the
other day, up in the atoned
mountains filled
with personal
transgressions,
As we quietly searched for righteous
prey, out of nowhere came a
gift of redemption to
cleanse my sinful
obsessions.
We moved carefully over rocky terrain
as God's untainted breath
was expelled, chatting as
we moved, no other
sound,
As we came over a ridge, there it was,
a spirit we desperately wanted
to find, we both took aim and
fired our rifles with bullets
mercy bound.

In
search
of
righteous
prey
Don't forget you bullets
