Quatrain of I Believe

I Believe - well, for the most part

I believe in you a hundred percent,
but I still have a few doubts
that guilelessly won't let
go,

I try to stay positive and not fold
to questionable thoughts, but
total trust is hard to
bestow.

When I say I believe, what I rightly
mean is, I believe the best that
I can, to the greatest
extent,

Tis hard to trust without some doubt,
it's the human in me that
causes some faith to be
spent.
