Quatrain of Important Knowledge

Important Knowledge - it is out there

I have forgotten more than I
have learned, there is
too much to
know,

If I don't dump most of what
comes in, there is no room
to let in more to
tow.

My only wish, is I might retain,
the truth and the light
that sets men
free,

All the rest of my learning can
disappear, I want plenty of
space when important
knowledge comes to
me.
