In Futility - be careful with
whom you mate

If you are a woman, you wish
to have eggs that are
smart, good
looking and
wise,

If you are a man, you want
your sperm to swim faster
than all others and
win the
prize.

We hope our offspring will be
the greatest since the first
birth, and go
beyond all
ability,

How disillusioning it is when this
doesn't happen, we pretend
our children are smarter
than us, all in
futility.
