Quatrain of Keep Looking

Keep Looking - time

As I stood awaiting the future
to visit unabated, all I
could see was the
present.

If there is a future it is only in
my mind's eye, mostly,
all I see is the past to
lament.

And as I look up to see what's
coming, it's here before
I have a chance to
explore,

The future is mystical, the present
mundane, the past is gone
before I can get
more.
