Quatrain of Laid Off

Laid Off - independent now

I was laid off as a worker for
God, my services
were respectfully
surrendered,

My sins became too much
for God to handle, I
was amiably
tendered,

But my trust in God hasn't
faltered, I have become
God's independent
contractor,

I will continue to let others
know there is a Deity, and
my soul will continue to
be a benefactor.
