Quatrain of Left Alone

Left Alone - not good

Once when my soul was left alone,
a craving for eternal
companionship did
emerge,

It was then I realized I longed
for company, someone to
share life's lonely
urge.

If I was the only person on earth
my spirit would starve of
thoughts without other
minds,

It may be I have great ideas, but to
satisfy the thirst for knowledge,
I need ideas of all
kinds.
