One or the other

Let me see you smile even
when you can't, it
would mean
a lot to
me.

To hide how you truly feel
is not a sin, but a
little smile can
make you
free.

Being alive is hard enough,
you need not add
shame to sad
feelings any
more,

It's easier to smile than to
cry and let your soul
fester while your
eyes turn
sore.
