Quatrain of Life's Edge

Life's Edge - I wish I see over it

Take me to the edge of life,
let me see beyond
the
rim,

Is there another world out
there full of joy,or
is it only
grim?

I would like to know what lies
yonder my mortal
grasp
indeed,

I've been told there is heaven,
but I have never seen it,
pray my faith does
not mislead.
