Quatrain of Life Farfetched

Life Farfetched - that's right!

I traveled up the mountain to
search for an alternate set
of biblical tablets to the
ten commandments
known,

I just knew there had to be an
easier set of rules to follow,
after all, I am human, I can't
follow all ten on my
own.

God certainly carved an easier
version to which I can adhere,
a set of rules that fit my
soul more perfectly
etched,

As of this time, I have not found
them, but I will keep looking
in hopes I can live a life
not so spiritually
farfetched.
