Quatrain of Light Slumber

A good nap

Been napping most of the day, truly
hoping all vile mortals
would soon depart,
my heart
pretends,

And as I awake from a light slumber,
I feel refreshed as my
soul takes flight
and my spirit
ascends.

Soaring above reincarnate mortals,
I feel so much better
now, I fly above
all sin and
condemnation,

It's because of my respite and my
demons, life has given
me prime wit; God
has provided my
salvation.
