Quatrain of Looking Good

Looking Good - yes, indeed

I may be penny poor but rest
assured, I am spiritually
wealthy beyond
compare,

I traded every nickel I earned
for a reverent glow; placed
paid rays of light in my
care.

The trade off has left me a
popper in the eyes of earthly
beings, but next to God I
shine,

If I have a choice of looking good
next to my fellow man or next
to the Creator, I'll take God
every time.
