What do I see?
The last time I looked at the past,
I saw dreams that never
were, I knew
then I was
taken,
My soul was tempted by the Devil
to perform dirty deeds,
I knew I had
to quietly
awaken.
Looking ahead, without a receiver,
was as if I had no
impulse to find
what I was
consuming,
Looking in God's rearview mirror
shows what is in the
distance, it does not
show what's
looming.
