Lost Chance - I tried

I took a chance early in life,
and failed to conquer
the essence of my
talent,

I missed my time when I could
have done great feats
of wonder ever so
gallant.

I took a chance and lost, my
savvy for understanding
human nature wasn't
enough,

Too many errors were made
attempting to overtake life's
challenges, and worse,
God called my
bluff.
